What is Ceylon Trends?
Ceylon Trends is an original-design brand with Sri Lankan roots. We publish stories and gift guides, and design place-pride clothing and gifts organised by country. Sri Lanka, the United States and the United Kingdom are live now; more countries open as people ask for them.
Can I buy something now?
Not yet. The first designs are being drawn and sampled. We open the shop only after we have ordered and approved samples ourselves. The newsletter is the best way to hear when it opens.
What does print-on-demand mean?
Each item is printed after it is ordered, by a specialist print partner, and sent directly to the customer. Nothing sits in a warehouse, which means less waste, and it also means production takes a little longer than off-the-shelf stock.
Why is it called Ceylon Trends if you make designs for other countries?
Ceylon is the old name for Sri Lanka, where the brand begins. The idea behind it is belonging, and many people belong to more than one place, so the platform is for every country on our list. Our About page tells the full story.
Are your designs original?
Yes. Every design is original or commissioned under a written licence. We do not use logos, crests, team names, song lyrics, characters or other people's photographs.
Can I suggest a design or a saying?
Please do. Sayings, neighbourhood names and small details from home are exactly what we look for. Send your idea through the contact page, or ask for your country on the countries page.
