Pride that starts with the region
Germany is a country of regions, and many people feel their strongest loyalty not to the nation but to their city, their state or the town they grew up in. Dialects, food and traditions change noticeably from one part of the country to another, and people are proud of the differences.
That makes Germany a natural fit for place-pride designs that are specific: the city, the region, the home town.
The things people miss
Germans living abroad tend to miss very particular things: bread with real crust and weight, the quiet of a Sunday when the shops are shut, Christmas markets in winter, and the feeling of a well-kept local neighbourhood. There is even a word for this attachment to a home place: Heimat.
What we design here
Designs for Germany start from cities, regions and the everyday rituals people recognise. Everything is original, with no state crests, official emblems or borrowed marks.
